Prep:
- Wash with Duragloss 901, sheepskin mitts via the 2 bucket method.
- Wheels cleaned with P21s wheel cleaning gel and various brushes.
- Tires and wheel wells cleaned w/ APC.
- Clayed paint and glass.
- Dried all surfaces with waffle weave MF drying towels.
Paint polishing:
- Wetsand required areas with grade 2000 paper.
- Strada 1000 with edge black wool via Metabo rotary.
- Presta 1500 with Edge green wool via Metabo rotary
- Presta 1500 with Edge green foam via Metabo rotary
- Zaino ZPC with Lake Country white foam via porter cable speed 6.
- Zaino AIO with Lake Country white foam via porter cable speed 6.
Interior:
- Through vacuum
- Carpets extracted.
- Leather cleaned and treated with Leatherique rejuvenator oil and pristine clean.
- Hard surfaces cleaned and protected with Leatherique pristine clean.
- Cleaned Glass with Invisible Glass
Protection
- Applied 2x of Zaino Z5pro sealant to paint.
- Applied application of Zaino Z8 spray sealant to paint.
- Applied Zaino Z-16 to tires.
- Wheels hand polished with Zaino AIO.

2004 Lexus LS430
Notes:
- Heavily swirled, soft Lexus paint.
- Goal: 100% swirl, scratch and RIDS free surface.
- 25 hours spent on job.
Process:
Prep:
- QEW wash.
- IPA wipedown to remove waxes, glazes, and fillers.
Paint polishing:
- Wetsand hood with 2000 to remove deep scratches.
- Yellow edge wool w 3M Extra cut compound via Hitachi rotary
- Green edge wool w Presta 1500 via Metabo Rotary
- 3M blue foam w 3M ultrafina finishing polish Metabo rotary
Polishing cleanup:
- Foam and rewash to remove polishing dust and oils.
- Wheels cleaned w P21s wheel cleaning gel and various brushes.
- Tires and wheel wells cleaned with APC.
Protection:
- Applied 2x Zaino Z5pro to paint.
- Applied Zaino Z8 spray sealant to paint.
- Wheels hand polished with Zaino AIO.
- Tires treated with Zaino Z-16.

2008 Chevrolet Corvette
Notes:
- Previous detailer used an air sander to remove water spots on the nose, hood and fenders of this Vette, leaving deep sanding marks in its paint surface.
Process:
- Wash.
- Claybar to remove contaminants.
- Measure paint depth with PosiTector 200 Advanced...plenty remaining.
- Tape off test area on hood.
- M105/Surbuf pad/XPPC Speed 6 to remove sanding marks...success. Finish remainder of hood, fenders, and nose.
- M205/black LC classic flat/XPPC6 on hood, fenders, and nose.
- M105/orange LC classic flat/XPPC6 on doors and rear of car.
- M205/black LC classic flat/XPPC6 on doors and rear of car.
- Foam wash with Z7.
- Pressure wash.
- Clean wheels, wheel wells, and tires.
- Refoam and wash with sheepskin mitt and two bucket method.
- Dry with compressed air and mircofiber towels.
- Apply 2 layers of Zaino Z5 Pro, followed by Zaino Z8.
- Apply Z-16 to tires.
- Apply Aquapel to windshield.
